World Series Squares Rules and
Scoring
Once all the squares have been selected, we will randomly
pick (computer generated) numbers from 0-9 for each team in the World Series, and assign that number to a
particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the total runs scored by each team. In
other words, if the score is AL 11 - NL 9, then the winning square is the one with
an AL number of 1, and an NL number of 9. Since no one knows what numbers
each square will represent, the odds are the same for everyone.
The winner of Game 1 is the last digit of the
runs scored by each team in that game. Winner of Game 2 is the last digit of the
total runs scored for games 1 & 2. Winner of Game 3 is the last digit of the
total runs scored in games 1 thru 3. Winner of Game 4 is the last digit of the
total runs scored in games 1 thru 4. Winner of Game 5 is the last digit of the
total runs scored in games 1 thru 5. Winner of Game 6 is the last digit of the
total runs scored in games 1 thru 6. Winner of Game 7 is the last digit of the
total runs scored in games 1 thru 7. There are no "bad numbers" by using this
scoring method - each square has the same odds to win because no one knows what the actual score will
be for each game.
If the Series ends at game 4, the winner will recieve the
payout for games 4 thru 7. If the Series ends at game 5, the winner will recieve the payout for games 5
thru 7. If the Series ends at game 6, the winner will receive the payout for games 6 & 7. If
the Series ends at game 7, the winner will recieve the payout for game 7. Good luck and enjoy!
You must submit payment immediately after you
pick your squares. Payment must be received within 5 days or you will lose your
squares. Follow the payment and mailing instructions at the bottom of this page. By
